Maria Makeeva is a well-known journalist, editor-in-chief of two independent TV channels, winner of a number of journalism awards – she is used to dealing with news, with stories that have been tested and verified. Perhaps that is why the phantasmagoria she has created “shines through” with realistic, recognizable allusions, giving the reader the opportunity to relate to the characters. The main character is faced with a moral choice – he must commit murder or die himself. His reflection on this matter is woven into a series of incredible events, the outcome of which can either destroy the world or save it.
