"The Adventures of Kubarik and Tomatik, or Fun Mathematics. Part II. How They Searched for Losharik" by Kira and Genrikh Sapgir is a continuation of the legendary mathematical tales by Genrikh Sapgir, a book that's the best place to begin your journey into this wonderful science. Tomatik and Kubarik set out in search of their friend Losharik. But finding him isn't easy; they need so many skills! Together with the book's characters, children learn to navigate space and time, become familiar with numbers, cardinal and ordinal counting, and gain an understanding of geometric shapes. And they consolidate their knowledge with engaging games and activities, outlined in the educational materials for parents. Like the first book, this reprint retains the original texts and illustrations, and the educational materials for parents have been adapted by Yulia Lugovskaya.
