This is a feminist anti-crisis manifesto. Feminism for the 99 percent addresses the problems familiar to 99 percent of modern women and, in addressing these problems, seeks to transform society. The manifesto's authors do not find the strategy of liberal feminists, who rely on "equality" within the existing social order, convincing. Supporters of feminism for the 99 percent want to demonstrate the value of their free and cheap labor by staging a new type of general women's strike, and then break with capital altogether, ceasing to serve it, and build new social structures based on the principles of anti-capitalism, anti-sexism, anti-racism, and environmentalism.
