"Faina Ranevskaya: A Lifelong Story" is a book by Alexei Shcheglov, a biographer and researcher of the life and work of Faina Georgievna Ranevskaya (1896–1984). The author is the son of the actress's closest friend, the actress and director I.S. Wolf, with whose family Ranevskaya lived her entire life.

Shcheglov offers the reader a chronological account of Ranevskaya's life, as well as an analysis of her role in theater and cinema, reflections on the actress's personality, her relationships with colleagues, and her views on life.

Material: rare photographs, quotes from Ranevskaya’s letters, diaries and memoirs, as well as stories of her close friends and colleagues.
