This unique collection features unpublished texts by Saint-Exupéry, discovered in private collections and compiled and reproduced by French publishers Alban Cérisier and Delphine Lacroix. Two novellas occupy a central place in this book: "Manon, the Dancer," Saint-Exupéry's first completed work, unfortunately unpublished during his lifetime, and "The Aviator," the novella that became the writer's first publication and the starting point for his enduring works. These early works are undoubtedly of the utmost importance in Saint-Exupéry's oeuvre, fully embodying the artistic merits, mastery, and depth of thought that readers so cherish in him. The collection also includes previously unknown essays by the writer, unpublished chapters and fragments from the novels "Southern Mail" and "Night Flight," as well as faithfully reproduced letters and documents, providing unique evidence of the life and creation of his immortal works. Of particular interest to readers are his love letters to the granddaughter of Tsar Alexander II, actress and socialite Natalie Paley, full of poignant lyricism and revelation. These texts are published in Russian for the first time.
