Anarchist and anti-fascist Alexei "Sokrat" Sutuga died on September 1, 2020. This book is an attempt to preserve the memory of a man who contributed so much to the anti-fascist movement and to explore the reality of the time now known as the "well-fed 2000s." Sokrat participated in environmental tent camps and street wars with the far-right. After the murders of anti-fascists, he began guarding punk concerts and rallies—and served two prison terms for political crimes. He simultaneously worked in construction, performed in theater, and wrote a book about his prison experience.
This is not an authorized biography. It contains recollections from Socrates' friends, transcripts of his speeches and interviews, and a reprint of his book "Dialogues on Prison" with commentary from fellow political prisoners Alexei Polikhovich and Ivan Astashin.
