Sendler takes teenagers out through the sewers, and carries out the little ones in sacks and toolboxes. She places them in monasteries and with friends. Someone informs on Irena, who is arrested, tortured, and sentenced to death. 1999-2000, Kansas, rural high school. Three schoolgirls are preparing a history report and discover an article about Irena Sendler. Why is no one aware of this woman who saved 2,500 children? Inspired by her heroism, the girls stage a play, which unexpectedly causes a huge stir not only in America but also in Europe. But they can't find their heroine's grave. Could Irena Sendler be alive?
