Jerzy Kosinski. Blind Date

The hero of the novel "Blind Date" is George Levanter, a Don Juan and a scoundrel, a Russian Jew and an American businessman who bills himself as an "investor" on his business card but in real life plays a KGB agent, a terrorist, and even a piano enthusiast. The description of his adventures is a mixture of a picaresque novel and the tales of "One Thousand and One Nights." Or perhaps, a work of fiction with episodes from the author's life.
