Gabriel García Márquez, "Falling Leaves: Stories and Short Stories"

Nobel Prize winner and Colombian Gabriel García Márquez (b. 1928) is one of the most significant writers of 20th-century world literature. This volume of García Márquez's works includes stories and short stories written in the 1940s and 1950s. The appendix includes materials related to this period of García Márquez's work, as well as his Nobel Prize-winning novel, "The Solitude of Latin America." Most of García Márquez's early stories are published in Russian for the first time.
