Up the River of Time. Russian Schoolchildren on the History of the 20th Century. A Collection of Scholarship Recipients' Works

This collection includes works by Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation scholarship recipients—winners of the All-Russian competition of historical research papers for high school students, "Man in History. Russia - 20th Century," from 2009 to 2011. The Russian students' works focus on pre-revolutionary life, collectivization, war, the siege and evacuation, socialist construction projects, the change of eras, and other events in Russian history, reflected in family and individual destinies.
